Our church in Chinatown serves as a witness of God’s everlasting love, providing safety, shelter, and warmth to all who enter.
The church home needs care and maintenance over time. Most of our windows are the original ones from the rebuilding of our church after the 1906 earthquake. We were unable to prioritize window replacement during many renovations in the history of our church.

INSPIRING THE FUTURE 啟後
Our windows are over 100 years old and are made with single pane, non-insulating and non-safety glass, letting in cold and hot air. The frames are rotted and determined unrepairable.
After a lengthy and thorough process, a proposal was developed by the Board of Trustees to include replacement of all exterior windows to meet city requirements and codes. A contract was signed with Buhler Construction to begin work in July of 2025.

Just as we retrofitted our church to safeguard against the effects of earthquakes, we must now replace our windows to continue the vision for the next generation.
